By now the unexpected should certainly be expected by the folks at Nike and Jordan Brand. To celebrate their 30th anniversary of dominance as well as the Air Jordan 1, JB will be definitely going into their vault to release some sneakers that we would never thought would see the light of day or a colorway with an inspiration we would never think of them doing.
For example the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG ‘Shattered Backboard’, who had any idea Jordan broke a backboard or played in a Nike game across seas? I thought so.
This upcoming prototype that Nike experimented with consist of the classic Air Jordan 1 with the Air Jordan 2 midsole mold. MJ actually wore this Hybrid Air Jordan 1 in a game before so the likelihood of a release is more than a sure thing.
As of right now, the exact name of this model is not yet known, release date is not yet known and a suggested retail price is non existent. We will continue to keep you guys updated on any information regarding this release as it becomes available. In the meantime we will like to know whether these will be a DEF Cop or DEF Not.
