Ross has played in all 22 games this season for the Magic including 20 starts. He’s averaging 9 points per game, 3.2 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.23 steals in 26.2 minutes per game. His points per game mark is the lowest since his rookie year with the Toronto Raptors.
The Orlando Magic traded for Terrence Ross after giving up on the Serge Ibaka experiment only 56 games into his tenure with the team. Orlando also acquired a first-round pick in the deal.
For the Magic, they will continue to depend on Jonathon Simmons to produce for them in Ross’ absence. Expect more playing time for Mario Hezonja and Arron Afflalo as the Magic continue to bounce back from their nine-game losing streak.
