Terrelle Pryor had a breakout 2016 campaign, his first season as a full-time wide receiver, and many were intrigued by how he would follow that up in 2017 with the Washington Redskins. He was on a one-year deal along with his quarterback Kirk Cousins and the duo was anticipated to be a potential goal line threat every week. Unfortunately a week two ankle injury led to season-ending surgery and Pryor’s lone season in Washington DC ended before it really got started. Now he’s looking to recapture that 2016 magic with the New York Jets next year.
Calvin Watkins of Newsday first reported the agreement.

The terms of Pryor’s agreement aren’t available at this time.
Pryor’s career as a decorated amateur quarterback in the high school and college ranks didn’t quite translate to the NFL for a multitude of reasons. But he made changes to become a different player during his time with the Cleveland Browns. He played 16 games in 2016 where he caught 77 passes good for 1,007 yards and four touchdowns. But is injury filled 2017 season saw Pryor only haul in 20 passes good for 240 yards and one touchdown.
Pryor has a good chance at being the number one receiver for the Jets going into next year with Jermaine Kearse, Robby Anderson and Quincy Enunwa all in the running. The only question now is will they be catching passes from newly signed Teddy Bridgewater or whoever they draft with the recently acquired third overall pick in the upcoming NFL Draft?
