Taylor Swift opens the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards with a performance of songs from her latest album Lover.

The pop-star kicked off the award show with a colorful performance of her anti-hate anthem You Need To Calm Down with vibrant back-up dancers and a giant rainbow. Taylor Swift then transitioned into Lover title track from her latest anthem.
