Three years ago, Pharrell surprised thousands of fans in Virginia Beach, Virginia when he brought Jay-Z on stage for the first Something In The Water festival. This time around, Pharrell has a few surprises up his sleeve as well. Earlier this morning, the emerging music celebration announced that the Clipse would join Pharrell on stage during his headlining set. Additionally, Justin Timberlake, N.O.R.E, Q-Tip and SZA will also join Pharrell on stage during the three-day event.
Aside from his set, Pharrell has also added a few more acts to the overall lineup as well. According to the festival’s most recent media alert, Anderson .Paak, The Free Nationals, bLAck pARty, J Balvin, and 21 Savage will perform in Washington, D.C. next weekend. Also, Washington, D.C. natives Bad Brains: A Tribute by Black Dots, TOB and YungManny will take the stage. Not to mention, the festival promises that there are more surprises to come.
Something In The Water is set for June 17-19, 2022 on Independence Avenue in the nation’s capital. Hosted by Pharrell and company, the festival will feature performances from Usher, Chloe x Halle, 6LACK, Tyler, The Creator and many others.
