Stranger Things is tentatively set to resume filming on September 28, 2020.
Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, the show had began filming in February for the show’s fourth season.
“We’re excited to officially confirm that production on Stranger Things 4 is now underway — and even more excited to announce the return of Hopper,” the Duffer brothers wrote.

Unfortunately, the show was force to put a pause on filming on March 13, 2020. Fortunately, the pause allowed the show’s writers to finish writing the season’s final episodes in June.
As of now, there is no planned date for the show to return to Netflix.
