Former North Carolina Tar Heels cornerback Storm Duck has announced that he has re-entered the transfer portal once again this offseason. He originally entered the transfer portal and later committed to the Penn State Nittany Lions. Now despite barely being there for a few months, he has now entered the college football transfer portal once again. This is a somewhat odd situation but could become more common with the new rules in the NCAA with the transfer portal. There is no word on if this will force the cornerback to sit out next season.

his past season with the North Carolina Tar Heels, Storm Duck recorded 36 solo tackles, 46 total tackles, one forced fumble, ten passes defended, and three interceptions that he returned for 14 yards. It is unclear why Duck decided to transfer, but it could be because of the other players at his position and what it appeared his role might have been next year with the Nittany Lions. Now he will once again enter the transfer portal and go through the entire process once again. His next destination could take some time to determine, but programs are typically always interested in adding an experienced upperclassman in the secondary.
