As April comes to a close. The month of May enters. Which means the Playoffs will truly begins. Think the first was good? Just wait until the conference semi finals. But it’s a of shame to not see the Portland Trail Blazers there. But that’s how the cookie crumbles.
One Blazer who is going to have an eventful offseason is LaMarcus Aldridge. Being the player that he is you know there are teams that are prepping to sign him. Now don’t expect Aldridge to talk about free agency. He probably won’t peep unless he gets a legitimate offer. But that doesn’t stop the media from churning the rumor mill. Marc Stein, forever the boss. Has already given a word as to who is in line for LMA.
We’ve only just made it to May, leaving two months for climates to change.
But the consistent word on the personnel grapevine at the minute informs us that San Antonio and Dallas not only both believe they have a real shot at signing him but are also legitimately in Aldridge’s thoughts.
Answer: We’re hearing Aldridge connected to both of those teams so frequently that you can only conclude that neither idea scares him.
The Knicks and Lakers, of course, also intend to enter the bidding. And there will surely be others.
LaMarcus Aldridge will be one of the biggest free agents in the market this offseason. His phone will be ringing non-stop. I can’t begin to guess where he’ll go. Simply because we don’t know how many teams actually want him!
