Kendrick Lamar is the subject of Spotify’s upcoming documentary. Recently, the streaming platform shared a short clip that documents Lamar’s recent trip to Accra, Ghana. In the days leading up to the release of his most recent album, the California native was spotted hanging out with people around town, visiting the beach and taking in the sights.
“First time in Ghana,” Kendrick Lamar tells the cameraman.
“I couldn’t even tell you what day it is. I’m just being in the moment. This life sh*t, it’s all about an experience, and everybody got their own different experience.”
Spotify’s recent visual release sets the stage for the full documentary debut in Cannes later this month. In addition to debuting his documentary, he will also perform alongside Post Malone and Dua Lipa during the company’s multi-day showcase in Cannes.
After debuting his documentary with Spotify, Lamar is set to embark on the The Big Steppers Tour with Tanna Leone and Baby Keem. Beginning in July, the trio will travel everywhere from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Dublin, Ireland. Check out his documentary trailer below before he stops in a city near you this summer.
