Oklahoma State Cowboys quarterback Spencer Sanders has announced that he is transferring to the Ole Miss Rebels. This is the second big-name quarterback name that Ole Miss has added via the transfer portal in the month of January. LSU Tigers quarterback Walker Howard also announced he was headed to Ole Miss for the 2023 college football season. It is unclear who holds the edge on the starting position at this time. Head Coach Lane Kiffin could decide to play both quarterbacks next season if a quarterback competition proves to be inconclusive in the offseason.
That Ole Miss QB room is pretty crowded and loaded with talent. Kiffin will now play a game of survivor

In his fourth season with the Oklahoma State Cowboys, Spencer Sanders completed 212 passes for 2,642 yards, 17 touchdowns, and nine interceptions on 368 attempts. He also rushed the ball 107 times for 391 yards and eight touchdowns and he also caught one pass for two yards in his senior season. Sanders has a clear edge in experience as a fifth-year senior heading into the 2023 college football season. A talented quarterback room is a good problem to have in college football and the Ole Miss Rebels should be fun to watch in the 2023 college football season.
