
SiR visits NPR’s Tiny Desk performing a 15-minute concert of songs from his latest album Chasing Summer.
During the performance, SiR shares that a few days before he lost his god-son, almost stopping him from doing the show. ” “We’re doing this today for him. It took a lot for me to be here today” says SiR before continuing the show.
SiR’s performance skills are top tier. His set at AFROPUNK ATLANTA 2019 made Def Pen’s list of unforgettable moments. He manages to exude emotional connections on every song while exhibiting flawless vocals.
The set starts off with “The Recipe” followed by “New Sky” and “Wires In The Way,” before closing with “John Redcorn.” According to NPR, both SiR’s mother and brother served as background vocalists.
