Matters of the heart are incredibly tricky and often hard to navigate. However, it is often best to go with your gut and tell the person that you love how much they truly mean to you. Waiting around for the perfect moment can often lead to tension and distance because the other person may be ready to take the next step already. Sinéad Harnett tackles all of these feelings and much more on her latest project, Ready Is Always Too Late.
“I’ve often put things off because I haven’t felt ‘ready.’ Even love interests have put off becoming something real because they didn’t think they were ‘ready’. Ready has often been an excuse, and one I didn’t want to use anymore,” Harnett said about the inspiration for her latest studio effort.
“I wasn’t ready to be proud of the skin I was in, to find my inner confidence or to truly practice self-love. But I’m doing it now and it’s an ongoing, crazy and unpredictable journey that I’m grateful for. Throughout making this album, my energy was pure, I felt more self-assured and accepting of each part of me.”
For her latest studio album, Harnett brings together a collection of talented artists including EarthGang, Masego, Lucky Daye and VanJess. Through her heartfelt songwriting and soulful voice, Harnett gives her fans all they can ask for and more. Check out the project below.
