
Beyoncé gave a nod to one of the greatest athletes in U.S. history through her latest collaboration with Gatorade. In honor of Serena Williams’ final appearance at the U.S. Open, Beyoncé narrated an ad called “Love Means Everything” that chronicles her career and impact on culture.
“Serena Williams has shown us the power of love – for yourself and everything you do. Her self-belief has been an inspiration to everyone, but especially young women of color,” the ad’s description reads.

Williams has announced that her professional tennis career will come to an end at the U.S. Open. Going out in style, the Los Angeles native will begin her campaign at this year’s tournament on August 29, 2022 at 7 p.m. EST. in Arthur Ashe Stadium. Wearing a custom Nike outfit adorned in diamonds, she will square off against Danka Kovinic. The all-time great tennis champion is a -370 favorite to win tonight’s match. However, she is a -5000 favorite to win the tournament.
