Los Angeles Rams Head Coach Sean McVay has announced that he will return to the franchise for the 2023 NFL season. This marks the second offseason in a row that rumors have circulated that McVay has considered retiring from coaching football. There have also been rumors that he has been offered lucrative contracts with different sports networks. The speculation after the Super Bowl last season ended when McVay announced his return. This year the Rams struggled and did not make the NFL Playoffs, but McVay will coach at least one more NFL season.

As the Head Coach of the Los Angeles Rams, Sean McVay has led the team to an overall record of 60-38 and an NFL Playoff record of 7-3. McVay led the team to a win in Super Bowl LVI is the youngest Head Coach to win a Super Bowl, and was named the AP NFL Coach of the Year Award in 2017. The 5-12 record this season was not what the team was hoping for, but with a healthy roster next season, the team is hoping for another shot at winning a Super Bowl. Eventually, McVay may decide to retire for a different job, but for now, he will continue to be the Head Coach of the Los Angeles Rams.
