On Friday, December 20, a new lawsuit accusing Sean “Diddy” Combs luring, drugging and sexually assaulting a woman in 2006 emerged.
Per the lawsuit, Latroya Grayson says a relative of hers won a trip to attend one of Combs’ parties in New York. On October 16, 2006, Grayson, who was 23 at the time, was flown from Oklahoma to New York alongside her sibling. During the party, Grayson says she drank two beverages she obtained from waitresses. Afterward, she says she woke up distraught in a hospital with a ripped shirt, missing underwear, no shoes and pain in her vaginal area, which she believes is the result of rough intercourse that she doesn’t recall. Later on, Grayson claims she received a call from an anonymous individual who told her that any attempts to sue “would be futile” because Combs “was a celebrity.” Grayson has filed a lawsuit against Combs and ten others she claims were involved in hosting the event. Additional defendants including Bad Boy Entertainment, Atlantic Records, KKJamz 105.3, the Roger Smith Hotel and former Atlantic Records promoter Mike Savas.
Combs is the subject of dozens of criminal and civil lawsuits accusing him of raping, drugging and assaulting individuals over the course of his career. Most notably, he was arrested in September and charged with racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. As he has with his most notable ongoing case, Combs and his attorneys have denied the accusations levied against him by Grayson.
“As we’ve said before, Mr. Combs cannot respond to every baseless lawsuit and lawyer-driven money grab,” Combs’ attorneys said.
“He has faith in the judicial process, in which fact will be separated from opportunistic fabrications like these.”
Combs is set to begin his criminal trial in New York on May 5, 2025.
