The Sacramento Kings are prepared to help ‘bring the heat from 22 feet’ all night long when they host a ‘Sauce Castillo’ night at Sleep Train Arena this Sunday when they host the Utah Jazz.
The legend of Sauce Castillo was born not too long ago thanks to a mistake on during a telecast during a Kings game. Now Sacramento fans can enjoy the new nickname and roar out in the stands screaming, ‘SAUCE CASTILLO’, *clap,clap-clap,clap,clap*, ‘SAUCE CASTILLO’, cheering on their new favorite Mexican aristocrat as he almost presumably rides the bench or plays some meaningless minutes. Either way, it should be fun.
Sleep Train arena attendees will receive “a special Sauce Castillo giveaway,” which appears to be a bottle of hot sauce with the slogan “BORN IN CANADA. CAPTIONED IN SACRAMENTO.” There will also be new shirts on sale for everyone to buy.

This is NOT a late April Fools Day joke either, I promise. The Kings have been rolling with this for as long as they can now, even with shirts being sold in the team shop. I can only dream about what fans will receive on Sunday night in Sacramento.
