Creighton Bluejays sophomore point guard Ryan Nembhard has announced that he has entered the transfer portal this offseason. This announcement is a bit surprising after both he and the Bluejays had an excellent year. That being said the transfer portal has become a hot market with top players that would have never transferred in past seasons. Nembhard will be one of the top players in the transfer portal this offseason and several high-major programs will likely reach out to the point guard. College basketball has never been more exciting in the offseason.

This past season as a sophomore with the Creighton Bluejays, Ryan Nembhard averaged 12.1 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per game. He paired those numbers with a field goal percentage of 43.2 percent and a three-point percentage of 35.6 percent. While his numbers did jump from his freshman year, perhaps not at the level that was expected of him. That could largely be because of the additions that were made to the team that took the ball out of his hands more than he was used to as a freshman. Nembhard has plenty of talent and likely hopes to get to the NBA in the near future. His next program will have that in mind when they add the talented point guard to their roster.
