Stanford Cardinal sophomore forward Harrison Ingram has announced that he is entering the transfer portal this offseason. After his freshman year, Ingram declared for the 2022 NBA Draft but ended up returning to college after some feedback from NBA teams. His draft stock in his sophomore season did not improve and now he will look for a new program for the 2023-24 college basketball season. The former top recruit will likely have several teams in the high majors interested in adding him now that he is officially in the transfer portal. He will need that team to help him recover his draft stock.

This past season as a sophomore with the Stanford Cardinal, Harrison Ingram averaged 10.5 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game. He paired those numbers with a field goal percentage of 40.8 percent and a three-point percentage of 31.9 percent. His numbers overall did improve this season, but not by much overall. While with Stanford he never quite caught on with the system and will look for a program that can highlight his NBA potential. This could spell bad news for Stanford Head Coach Jerod Haase, who has been removed to be on the hot seat for a few years now. He will need a great season next year.
