Jordan Brand is preparing to unleash the next installment in Michael Jordan’s signature shoe line. The Air Jordan 31 (XXX1) is next up and looks to be a defining chapter that will change the Air Jordan line for years to come. While a general idea of what the Air Jordan 31 design will look like thanks to Jimmy Butler and Carmelo Anthony sporting ‘USA’ colors of the silhouette, the AJ31 looks very promising.
The official unveiling will take place this July 20th by way of live streaming. With the first two colorways of the Air Jordan 31 already known with potential release dates, all eyes are still certainly on the return of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG ‘Banned’ aka ‘Bred’. The Air Jordan 1 is the catalyst for the Air Jordan 31’s design as well as first colorway to release.
Today taking to twitter the folks at Jordan Brand unleashed a video with Russell Westbrook who ushered in the Air Jordan 30. In this video below titled ‘Defy Expectations’, Russell spoke on the return of the Air Jordan 1 in its ‘banned’ colorway and what it means to him to be apart of this.
