The Detroit Pistons made a trade earlier in the week to secure a third young piece to add to their young core but they gave up Brandon Jennings and Ersan Ilyasova in the process of getting Tobias Harris, seemingly thinning their bench.
Now it appears they have taken the proper steps to solidify their second unit by bringing in two pieces from the Rockets rotation.

Joel Anthony will be going to the 76ers in this deal for a second round pick, according to Wojnarowski.
Philadelphia will receive a future second-round pick to take on Anthony and his contract, sources tell @TheVertical.

For the Pistons, this just solidifies their efforts in chasing a playoff birth this season. They currently are on the outside looking in but with the new acquisitions in place the Pistons could come for the eighth spot in the Eastern Conference.
