Boston Celtics big man Robert Williams could be back for Game 3 or Game 4 of the playoff series against the Brooklyn Nets, according to Shams Charania from The Athletic.
Boston Celtics center Robert Williams is close to a return and could play in Game 3 (Saturday) or Game 4 (Monday) vs. Nets, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Final determination will be made on how Williams feels day-to-day after suffering torn meniscus on March 27.

Williams has been dealing with a meniscus tear in his left knee. He last played on March 28 in a Celtics win against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
At the moment, he ranked no. 1 among 169 players in the league who have defended 500-plus shots as the closest defender, per Second Spectrum tracking and he held opponents under 40% shooting.
In Williams’ absence, Daniel Theis was promoted to the starting lineup. He has averaged 9.5 points and 6 rebounds in 25 minutes per game.
The Celtics currently have a 2-0 lead in the playoff series against the Nets. Game 3 will be played on Saturday at TD Garden and Game 4 is scheduled for Monday.
