The Milwaukee Bucks have been without head coach Jason Kidd since last month. Kidd underwent hip surgery and had been resting and recovering from the long-lasting injury. In that time, the Bucks have accumulated an 8-7 record under interim coach Joe Prunty. However, according to ESPN’s Marc Stein, Kidd is expected to return soon:

The Bucks have actually been doing slightly better with Prunty at the helm, having accumulated a 19-25 record on the year. Coming off of a promising playoff campaign, this season has been mostly disappointing for Milwaukee. They are currently 3.5 games out of the playoffs in a deeper and stronger Eastern Conference. The team will be hoping that Jason Kidd’s return can give them an extra boost to finish out the second half of the season strong.
