Even though we will never see Allen Iverson lace em up to play on an NBA court again, that doesn’t mean his legacy won’t live on. If that means through his sneakers then so be it. As A.I officially retired last season we count down to when The Answer is up for voting to be inducted into the Hall Of Fame. Now it seems Reebok knows something we don’t know because today at 8 AM via: Foot Locker, the Reebok Question Mid ‘First Ballot’ will be releasing.
Below are some detailed pictures as well as the release details, take a look and let us know if these will be a DEF Cop or DEF Not.
Though Allen Iverson isn’t eligible for Hall of Fame consideration yet, Reebok is wasting no time getting the campaign started as we can see from tomorrow’s Question Mid “First Ballot” release. The Black/White/Red/Royal “First Ballot” uses a slew of premium materials to make Iveron’s case for enshrinement in Springfield. A mostly black upper is covered with an intricate design that gives way to a patch of black nubuck around midfoot where the Reebok classic logo can be found. Another patch of blue nubuck containing the logo for the Question line of shoes is on the heel surrounded by a smooth padded black leather. More smooth leather takes care of the toe this time in red. Red also takes care of the piping throughout, as well as the sock liner. The “First Ballot’s” lower third includes the iconic honeycomb design surrounded by a white speckled midsole finished off on the heel with Iverson’s #3.
The Reebok Question Mid “First Ballot” releases on Friday, August 15th, at Foot Locker and online at Footlocker.com for $125.
