First things first, a big shout out and thank you to the folks at Concepts for not only throwing a dope event but more importantly extending the invitation.
On 12/16/16 Concepts Boutique hosted an event for their Concepts x Reebok Insta-Pump Fury Sneaker. The event took place in New York City and while it was a very frigid evening I was more than grateful to be in attendance. Upon entry, the display for their collaboration was eye catching.
The apparel was the first thing to grasp my attention. While shirts, sweatshirts, and hoodies were in black/white or white/black the old saying less is more immediately resonated with the collection. As for the Reebok Insta-Pump Fury sneaker, there were two color ways available and as you would assume correctly there was all black and of course all white.
There was a display made solely for the Reebok Insta-Pump Fury in the second room of the location along with their Concepts skateboard, dad hats, lighters and much more. Concepts use of branding is perfect as the C logo is spotted brightly on the ceiling. It is easy to see that Concepts strongly believes on delivering conceptual work all across the board.
Lastly, how could I forget, their hospitality was on display as well. Providing us with a slight refreshment, we were treated with Mini-Moet bottles to quench our thirst. Far too kind, Far too kind.
