There aren’t many who can say, “this pair of sneakers right here are directly from Kanye West”. Well Questlove can, and rightfully so the co-founder of The Roots, producer and author has earned that honor, among other things. Quest is a legend and thanks to The Coveteur in their most recent interview with him we were able to get a more of an in depth look into the house, his closet rather just to see what he had stored away. What stuck out to me the most was the different array of sneakers that he has at his disposal, some for the most part are in that rare category.
Here’s what he has to say about his sneaker collection and more importantly the Yeezy sneakers from 2010,
“My sneakers are like my children, I can’t pick a favorite. It varies depending on the day. I love, love, love all of my sneakers but I will say that I get perverse pleasure in scuffing up my second edition Yeezy sneaks from 2010,”
