Pusha T is making the rounds following the release of his most recent collaboration with Jay-Z. Most recently, he stopped by Hot 97 to talk about his upcoming album, It’s Almost Dry. During the course of his conversation with Ebro and company, the group began talking about his recent appearance on NIGO’s I Know Nigo album. For the first time in years, the Virginia native was heard rapping alongside his brother, No Malice. The release of “Punch Bowl” left many fans hoping for new Clipse album. As it turns out, Pusha T is also “pressing” for another Clipse project as well.
“First of all, just being in the studio with him was amazing,” he said, according to Vibe.
“Already from ‘Punch Bowl,’ everybody was like, ‘I told y’all his brother was better than him!’ Like, that’s all the conversation is. It’s cool man, it’s cool! And when y’all hear this other verse, it’s crazy! Like, it’s so good. I’m glad we got in to do those two.”
Pusha T didn’t stop there. Not long after his interview with Ebro and company aired, the G.O.O.D Music President shared a picture of himself standing alongside Dr. Dre.
“If I start working on the next one, y’all can cancel Christmas. Hey Dr. Dre,” he wrote.
Pusha T has said that his upcoming album was entirely produced by Kanye West and Pharrell. However, a Dr. Dre produced single or bonus track is not out of question.
