“What I’m Cookin In The Kitchen..” Pusha T x adidas EQT Running Guidance 93 ‘King Push’
After several teaser images that followed an announcement that Pusha T (from himself) would be getting his own shoe with adidas, we are proud to say the sneakers have been unveiled.
G.O.O.D Music artist are almost synonymous with the 3 stripes, we have had Teyana Taylor drop a record breaking sneaker, Big Sean got his own taste of fame with his own sneakers as well, even 2 Chainz saw a model he had the liberty to construct, release to the masses and we can’t forget Yeezus who is planning to shake up the sneaker culture again like he did with Nike.
Pusha T is up at the mound now. His choice of sneaker was a great one, as we will be getting the Pusha T x adidas EQT Running Guidance 93 ‘King Push’ collaboration THIS month. Talk about making the month of December even worst for our pockets (trust me I am tired of saying this). The release date for these is 12/23 and will be available on adidas.com. Hopefully I can get a pair because they are perfect for the summer time.
Just recently Pusha sat down with GQ for an interview to talk about the collaboration and here is a short excerpt from it to give you guys an idea of what sparked the creation that is #KingPush.
What’s the inspiration behind the shoes?
Yeah I mean everything–the fish scale nuances, the cracked leather, everything–is inspired by street culture because I feel like I’m synonymous with that. Even the gum sole and the measuring line on the sole relates to that. I just tried to make it as fun as possible. Like, there’s no question that this is Pusha T’s shoe. I wanted to make it me, make it fresh, and really add to the silhouette the best I could.
