Is the upcoming PUMA AUTODISC the answer for PUMA to the highly anticipated Nike MAG? Well to focus on PUMA here, it just may be from a technological standpoint for the time being. From a design standpoint, the Nike MAG may just have them beat. Anyway continuing on, here is all that we know about the PUMA auto-lacing sneaker, PUMA AUTODISC.
While this is only a prototype at the moment we get a general idea of what to expect when the sneaker does hit retailers. The auto-lacing on the sneaker is activated by the patented disc closure on the center of the sneaker right where the tongue is. The prototype version features a micro USB to charge up the shoes but apparently in 2016 when the sneaker does release it will have what is being said to be a charging plate to eliminate plugging in to charge.
Many will probably flock towards the Nike MAG but what PUMA did here that is different and probably not that big of a deal to a lot is do without laces or the look of laces as a whole.
