If you love pizza and sneakers, the guys at Pizza Hut have you covered. One of the greatest marketing strategies I can remember comes by way of a sneaker dubbed ‘Pie Tops’. Now this shoe isn’t going to be just your typical grab and go like any ol’ pair of kicks. Dressed in a white and red colorway, sporting a high top look and a strap, the highlight comes by way of the tongue.
Featuring the iconic Pizza Hut logo, the tongues can actually be used for some good. Pizza Hut is allowing 64 pairs in total of their limited sneaker to order pizza to your location. Look at God. The release of this sneaker is expected to take place this March and April for their $7.99 2-topping pizza promotion.
It is also being reported that the majority of the pairs made will be going to Friends and Family with a select few being for sale. There is no confirmation on that so stay tuned. Also in another ditch effort for some good promotion, there is a 30 second commercial below featuring Grant Hill. In the video Grant utilizes the bluetooth tongue to order a 2-topping pizza for $7.99.
