Philadelphia singer-songwriter Pink Sweat$ has released artwork for his upcoming album, Pink Planet: The Prelude.
“Thank you for your support and patience this artwork represents a lot of things and say to you dare to dream dare to think that you are good enough believe in the impossible,” he wrote on Instagram.
“I am forever grateful and this album will be received as my the best work to date Pink Planet: The Prelude,” he continued.
The project was slated to come out earlier this year, but was pushed back due to the pandemic. Instead, he led with a new single called “Not Alright” from the project.
“I’ve always used music as a form of expression, and now is no different. ‘Not Alright’ is a song I wrote about the wide range of feelings you experience being black in America. I was planning on putting this record out with the rest of the album, but I need you all to hear this one now,” he said.
