Meadow Walker, the daughter of the late actor Paul Walker, will make an appearance in the upcoming chapter of the Fast saga. Walker took to Instagram on Thursday to share a brief clip of her appearance in the Universal production.
“The first Fast was released when I was one year old! I grew up on set watching my father, Vin [Diesel], Jordana [Brewster], Michelle [Rodriguez], [Ludacris] and more on the monitors,” Walker wrote in a heartfelt message, per Deadline.
“Thanks to my dad, I was born into the fast family. I can’t believe now I get to be up there too. With those who have been around to see me grow up.”
Walker also thanked the film’s director, Louis Leterrier. In her words, Leterrier has been kind, patient and supportive throughout this endeavor.
“It feels like you’ve been part of the family since we started. I’m happy it’s just the beginning,” she continued.
Walker’s father, Paul, was an integral part of the Fast saga. He appeared in the franchise’s first seven films as Brian O’Conner. Along the way, he won two MTV Movie Awards for his portrayal of O’Conner. Tragically, Walker passed away in 2013 during a car crash in California. He was 50 years old.
Walker’s daughter, Meadow, will honor her father with a cameo in Fast X, which is set to debut in theaters later this month.
