Some may call this the shoe that needs no introduction, but… When Packer Shoes first set to launch the “Remember the Alamo” Kamikaze II and it’s accompanying capsule collection back in 2013, it was originally intended to launch to coincide with that year’s NBA All-Star game played in Houston, TX. While eventually launching later in the summer of 2013 and selling out in a matter of seconds, many unlucky buyers were left asking for a second chance at obtaining the famed smu. Thanks to the crew at Reebok Classic and Packer Shoes, your requests have been answered. Re-released to coincide with this year’s NBA All-Star Weekend in NYC, The “RTA Revisited” Reebok Kamikaze II by Packer Shoes is a near identical re-release of the 2013 launch with the “sole” difference found on the insoles which now feature “Token 38” branded footbeds. Adding to the celebration of it’s return, each pair of the “RTA” Kamikaze II come with complimentary 1996 All-Star ‘Alamo’ Shawn Kemp “Token 38” co-branded Stance socks (size L/XL).
