Last January we had the honor of ushering in the new year with our first ever collaborative project with Asics that spearheaded our 10th anniversary of being in Teaneck, NJ. Coming off our year long celebration, it would only be right to bring in 2015 with another joint offering with our friends over at Asics, this time using their classic GEL-Lyte V heritage runner as a canvas.
Built and designed for maintaining casual appeal in even the most treacherous weather conditions, we proudly present the Packer Shoes x Asics GEL-Lyte V Gore Tex.
Constructed using one of the finest premium pigskin nubuck ever sourced on a GLV, the mid panel of the shoe features a black heavy duty ripstop nylon treated with a urethane coating for water repellence and resistance. A hot pink neoprene is used on the ankle collar for additional repellence and insulation as well a Gore Tex lining throughout the entire shoe. Optional black and royal rope shoe laces are also included to customize the look.
Sure to make a “splash” for the new year, look for the Packer Shoes x Asics GEL-Lyte V Gore Texto launch as a worldwide exclusive this Saturday – January 10th – at 12pm noon EST both in-store and online at PackerShoes.com. Retail is set at $170 USD.
