The end is near! Nearly five years after its debut in 2017, Jason Bateman’s Ozark will return for its final chapter on April 29, 2022.
“Freedom from the cartel is seemingly within reach, but fraying familial bonds may prove to be the Byrdes’ ultimate undoing. No one gets out clean,” the final season’s description reads.
As stated previously stated, all good things must come to an end. In just under five years, Bateman’s original series, Ozark, has become one of the most critically-acclaimed shows on the digital platform. Earning six Golden Award nominations and thirty-two Primetime Emmy Award nominations, the four-season project has become one of the most notable programs in the network’s decade-long original series catalog. Beyond the world of television, the series also boosted the notoriety of Lake Ozark, Missouri and inspired the opening a restaurant named after Bateman’s character.
