Emerging vocalist Olivia King had a vision to create a song with the help of her fans and she brought it life. With the help of songwriter Roderick Jones, King let her fans choose the artwork, guitar solo and much more for her latest single. The result of her fan’s choice is “Bag Baby,” a stylish, funky nearly four-minute anthem about what everything she has accomplished thus far and all of the things she will claim in due time.
“Buying all the things I never had/I don’t really care if you are smarter than me/Nobody work harder than me/Oh, you can’t stop me from my bag/You can’t stop me from my bag,” King sings.
Olivia King’s “Bag Baby” is the latest release in a busy year for the singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur. Thus far, she’s unleashed a starting lineup of singles, including “Brick By Brick,” “One Reason,” “Stressed Out,” “Unfinished Business” and “Bag Baby.” She hasn’t teased the release of a new project, but she could be building toward an even busier 2025.
