Langston Bleu is back!
Three years after the release of Bleu, the Atlanta-based, genre-bending vocalist is ready to deliver his latest project, Love Is A Luxury, on Friday, September 20. Blending elements of R&B, Hip-Hop, Pop and beyond, the soulful vocalist explores the pursuit of emotional and material fulfillment in a world where both have become increasingly difficult to attain.
“[Love Is Luxury is] a reflection on how we value love in an era where everything comes with a price. Sometimes, we chase luxury, thinking it will make up for the lack of true connection—but is it worth it?” Bleu explains.
“I want people to think about what they’re spending their emotional currency on. In a world where wages are low, and prices are high, love and time have become the most expensive luxuries. If I’m gonna embrace the ‘city boy’ life, it’s gotta be done with style and purpose,” he adds.
As he dives deep into a discussion about these complex topics, Deante’ Hitchcock and A. Chic offer their prospectives through guest hooks and verses. Not to mention, the Atlanta-based vocalist calls on the help of his close friend and Cowboy Carter collaborator, Brittney Spencer.
