Offset has a surprise for you and you and you too!
On Monday, the Grammy-nominated act teased new music in a way that only he can. Teaming up with Jamie Lee Curtis, the rapper recreated James Brown’s 1988 interview with CNN’s Sonya Friedman. Dodging questions from Jamie Lee Curtis about his relationship with his wife, Cardi B, Offset pivoted to speaking about new music. Without revealing what exactly was coming, the Grammy nominee directed his fans to a link in his Instagram bio. There, he let his supporters know that he is releasing new music on Friday, July 28.
Within the last 12 months, Offset has directed his attention toward his solo career. Releasing solo tracks like “5 4 3 2 1” and collaborations like “Code” featuring Moneybagg You, he has seemingly been building toward the release of his solo project. More recently, he reunited with Quavo to honor Takeoff at the 2023 BET Awards and brought out Cardi B to perform “Clout” at Rolling Loud in Miami, Florida. Not to mention, he brought his talents to The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon for a live performance. Gaining momentum with each release and performance, the Atlanta rapper seems poised to drop a full-length project in the near future. Until then, check out his announcement with Jamie Lee Curtis below.
