The Cleveland Browns should get reinforcements on Sunday with the likely return of star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. Barring any last-minute setbacks Beckham will return to the Browns offense this Sunday in week three of the 2021 NFL season. With Jarvis Landry sidelined by an injury, this is great timing for an offense that often lacks passing weapons. Odell Beckham Jr. tore his ACL last season and has been recovering since the injury.
? Odell Beckham, Jr. will play Sunday vs the Bears, barring any final setbacks, per sources. Beckham, who hasn’t played since suffering a torn ACL on Oct. 25, has worked diligently to return and re-assert himself among the league’s top receivers. He’s a Comeback POY candidate.

Beckham Jr. at his best is one of the best playmaking wide receivers in the NFL and an asset to Baker Mayfield and the Browns’ offense. The Browns offensive scheme is focused largely on running the ball with Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt, but the passing game is still a much-needed component. Odell Beckham Jr. as a threat alone makes the running game much easier for the Browns on game day.

The Browns have Super Bowl aspirations and Odell Beckham Jr. could be a valuable asset on the team to reach those goals. Landry is set to miss a few weeks, so a recovering Beckham will be asked to carry quite a bit of the passing game. Hopefully, Beckham doesn’t face any setbacks and is able to play Sunday against the Chicago Bears. We here at Def Pen Sports will keep you updated on the status of Beckham come game day.
