If you haven’t caught wind yet I am a firm believer of colorways that drew their inspiration from something other than the obvious. Case in point is the Air Jordan 7 Retro ‘Sweater‘. Now lets be clear I am not a 100% sure that is the exact nickname Jordan Brand is going to run with but it is what inspired the graphic design we see throughout the upper.
As mentioned when the shoes were unveiled if you remember vividly there was a McDonalds commercial that Michael Jordan and Larry Bird starred in and in said commercial MJ wore a sweater with the exact same patterns seen here.
I am a big fan of the Air Jordan 7 so you can expect for this White/Soar-Black-Varsity Red-Bright Concord colorway to be on my DEF Cop list and with a release date for November 14, 2015 I am definitely trying to pick up a pair.
Check out the only pictures still available and let us know your thoughts down in the comments.
UPDATE: This Air Jordan 7 Retro ‘Nothing But Net’ is the confirmed dubbed nickname for the colorway which represents the classic MJ and Larry Bird McDonalds Commercial
