NikeLab seems to be full of surprises these days.
Earlier today, they took to their official twitter handle to announce that “Uptown Is Calling”. Now if you are from NYC the irony in calling this collaboration ‘Uptown’ would be symbolic to the silhouette itself since thats the nickname us New Yorkers have given these to begin with for years.
Those familiar with the legendary graffiti artist, Eric Haze you can spot the use of the Graffiti font used in the “AIR” and the use of the arrow that Haze has become well known for using.
Will these release sometime during All Star Weekend since it is in NYC, possibly. Also within the tweet from NikeLab they used the hashtag #21MNY for 21 Mercer.
While there is no other pictures available or release details we will make sure to stay on top of this release to ensure you guys stay informed if you were thinking of picking up a pair.
