Since making its first impression in 1990, the Air Max 90 has transitioned from being a shoe that highlights a window to the sole to pairing the innovative cushioning with an expressive design language. Today, the women’s Air Max 90 makes yet another transition in two new chrome-to-color looks.
Each shoe features a silver leather upper with patent leather overlays finished in a pink or blue splashed pattern. Both overlays produce a unique, multi-colored effect, showcasing the transition between chrome and color. Matching accents are seen on the tongue, lining and heel badge, giving each silhouette further distinction. Additionally, a classic polyurethane midsole reveals a colored Max Air unit in the heel, preserving the 90s responsive feel.
