Not only does this shoe above, the Skechers’ Burst sneaker in men’s and women’s, look to have an eerily striking resemblance to a Nike patent, the outsole resembles the Boost technology that adidas owns as well.
This is all bad, it pretty much looks blatant honestly.
Regardless of that it appears, according to Portland Business Journal the folks at Nike are suing Skechers for not one, two or three but EIGHT different infringing design patents that company possessed over the last two years. The obvious infringement here is that the Skechers Burst sneaker clearly resembles that of the Nike Flyknit family so in return Nike wants a stop of all products as well as profits from the sales.
