A couple of weeks ago, D’Angelo Russell of the Los Angeles Lakers who was drafted at number 2 in the 2015 NBA Draft took to his twitter account to announce he had officially signed with Nike.
Well today, Nikes’ PR Director Heidi Burgett took to her twitter handle to make the announcement official but in addition she broke the news that the number 1 overall pick, Karl-Anthony Towns of the Minnesota Timberwolves has been signed to the Nike family as well.
Congratulations to both these guys as I am sure they will make a great addition to the Swoosh and be great NBA players for their respective teams.
