Not too sold on this specific addition to the Nike Basketball/Sportswear family, the Nike LunarWavy Sky Hi ‘All Star’. Taking the Air Force 1 and Nike Air Foamposite One to construct a new sneaker should not have resulted in this, I don’t see these doing particularly well come release day.
Regardless of how I feel, it is your opinion that matters to you so check out the official release details and detailed pictures below and let us know down in the comments if they will be a DEF Cop or DEF Not.
Elevating sport style, the LunarWavy AS honors two of Nike Basketball’s greatest footwear icons: the Nike Air Foamposite One and the Nike Air Force 1.
The look of the shoe draws inspiration from the aggressive stance and fluid upper of the Foamposite One. A sleek, single-molded upper is produced by Vac-Tech construction and given unique attitude and pose through a drop-in wedge midsole. The classic white/white color scheme of the LunarWavy AS pays homage to the crisp appeal of New York’s favorite variety of the timeless Air Force 1.
The Nike Sportswear Constellation Collection LunarWavy Sky Hi AS, Nike Dunk High CMFT PRM AS and Nike Air Force 1 Elite AS will be available at select Nike Sportswear retailers and online at nike.com/sportswear on Feb. 11.
