Personally for me the ‘SLH’ theme for LeBron’s signature line has lost it’s edge with the last few releases which were created to represent the youth team LeBron played for as a kid. The Nike LeBron 8 V/2 and Nike LeBron 9 were the last two which were worth a purchase in my opinion as the Nike LeBron 11 sporting the classic teal and purple was cool especially with the honeycomb graphic throughout. Even then, those were still a bit of a let down. Considering the Summit Lake team is a youth squad, it makes sense that the Nike LeBron 13 GS ‘Summit Lake Hornets’ is strictly a Grade School exclusive. Having an official colorway description of Black/Vivid Purple-Concord-Teal they look more so inspired by the NBA team, the Charlotte Hornets but that isn’t the case of course.
With official pictures now out, the upcoming colorway is expected to hit retailers this January 28, 2016. Let us know down in the comments if they’ll be a DEF Cop or DEF Not.
