Young athletes, this one is for you guys. Today we received word on the nickname and inspiration for this colorway we have seen several weeks ago, the Nike LeBron 13 GS ‘Mini Hoop’. Dressed in a red, blue and white to represent the mini hoop net, had many believing it was inspired by a super hero of some sort but now we know that is not the case.
Dubbed ‘Mini Hoop’ as a nod to LeBron’s childhood for a story that we all should be familiar with, the mini basketball hoop James would play on as a kid. This isn’t the first time this theme was used as it was apart of an earlier Christmas Day sneaker, the Nike LeBron 6 which was a GS so it all makes sense.
