As 2016 starts to roll in we look forward to the month of February for the simple fact it is Black History Month but for sneaker heads as well, we look forward to what Nike has in store for their Nike Sportswear Black History Month. Aside from their Nike Basketball lineup there is usually other silhouettes that join in on the celebration. So far for the 2016 Black History Month collection we have received a great look at the ‘BHM‘ Nike Kyrie 2 and while we wait for the others we get to feast our eyes on the Nike LeBron 13 ‘BHM’.
The obvious theme this year is that colorful tribal pattern which took shape on the strap of the Kyrie 2 and looks to be present on the entire upper of the LBJ 13. The shoe present is obviously a grade school pair as that is the size which usually leaks first on the internet.
As of right now there is no confirmed release date but in due time hopefully after the Christmas Pack is unveiled and releases we will see an official unveiling and release date for the 2016 Black History Month collection. Let us know down in the comments your thoughts on these, will they be a DEF Cop or DEF Not.
UPDATE: You can’t have a Black History Month collection without the King. Here are some of the latest pictures for the Nike LeBron 13 ‘BHM’ right before the official unveiling by Nike which should come soon. Expect for these to hit retailers this month, January 18, 2016.
