Nike Black History Month Collection has come and go, now we look forward to the collection many like myself anticipate every year, the Nike Basketball All-Star Collection. Usually I opt to go with the KD’s each year so that’s where I stand as far as expectations. But obviously we aren’t here for the KD’s right now as the Nike LeBron 13 ‘All-Star’ looks to be the first to leak on the net. So far all we knew was the colorway but no idea what direction they would go considering there is always a theme associated with the Nike Basketball All-Star Collection.
The official colorway is Alligator/Black-Multicolor and it’s obvious a special box is being thrown into the mix like it has for the last few years for All-Star weekend. Immediate standout features on the sneaker is the graphics seen on the back and a nice added touch is the patches on the back which are indication of Championships and All Star games for King James himself, like the warm up jackets they wear prior to the game.
What’s the theme? that is still not known considering Northern Lights is seen all throughout the Nike Air Foamposite One and is expected to be the overall theme for Nike/JB sneakers. While the official unveiling can happen anyday now, look for more news regarding the Nike LeBron 13 ‘All-Star’ and others to come soon. We will keep you guys updated. The LEBRON 13 features a grey-green upper — reminiscent of the neutral tones of Toronto’s winter — with graphic blocking similar to the KD8. An icy, marbled effect covers the outsole heels of James’s game shoe while pins honor the player’s on-court triumphs.
