Remember the ‘Red Rubber City‘ Nike LeBron 12s that LeBron wore during All Star weekend which happened to be an EXT model? Well we have a release date for the upcoming black colorway.
The Nike LeBron 12 EXT ‘Rubber City’.
LeBrons’ hometown is known for its manufacturing of rubber tires and this specific silhouette pays homage to the important export that once helped the city economically.
I am always here for sneakers that have a significant story line behind its design. As you can see it all makes sense now that the rubber inspired upper replaces the typical posite overlay we are familiar to seeing on the LeBron 12.
To me, it automatically looks like a tire so I knew it has some meaning to it. I also can bet the clear sole and metallic swoosh is supposed to symbolize the rims, nice touch.
You can expect for these to release this March 21, 2015, the retail price is still uncertain but look for an official unveiling soon and we will have that confirmation on everything including detailed pictures for you guys.
Let us know down in the comments if these will be a DEF Cop or DEF Not.
