Like they say you learn something new everyday. As for many of their signature athletes who have their own signature shoe, the shoes tend to tell a story giving fans a chance to learn more about their favorite athlete. As for Kyrie Irving his story is just beginning to unfold on his new signature shoe the Kyrie 2. As we have just three colorways that have hit the market already; ‘Effect‘, ‘Inferno‘ and ‘Christmas‘, the saga shall continue.
Here we have the upcoming Nike Kyrie 2 GS ‘Skateboard’ which is a Grade School exclusive for the young athletes. Now considering Ky Irv is a star point guard, getting in tuned with some of his interest as a kid outside of basketball is interesting as this new colorway is geared towards an interest he had growing up. Who would have thought Irving was in to skateboarding, nothing against it but the story line clearly leads to a great colorway for kids. Adding a skateboard to the tongue to join his logo was a dope touch and the funky skull holding a skateboard in its mouth graphic adds to the whole skater feel.
